When I begun BCL I worked on the first homes we built. I was the apprentice, I did what ever needed doing. I got up every morning in the early hours with the lads. Not only does this give me a solid understanding of the process once the build site is underway, from boxing up the foundation to installing insulation, right through to the final stages of cladding a house and then handing over the keys. I having been involved in every aspect and standing those all important steel frames means I have a full understanding of the process. I have a targeted problem solving approach to work through any thing that should arrise on during planning, consent, and during building as I can foresee the flow on effect and manage it as and where needed to minimise delays. Building should and can be a very fun and exciting process for all of those involved, I love the busy days on site and visit sites regularly, so does Kate with her scones!
